The Beginning of Our Spiritual Journey

Our History

To know who you are, it helps to know where you came from. Thanks to continued communication with Carol (Carol Crane, my deceased loving spouse) we have updates to the information previously available. Most of this information has been available through other sources for years, but since this direct line of communication is available, it is reoffered in a more "user friendly" format.

If you ever doubted it I would like to lay your doubts to rest, there is a One Infinite Creator, but its not “an invisible man in the clouds that is not good with money” as some people would have you believe. The One Infinite Creator is everything, and everything is the One Infinite Creator. That is the Law of One, the only real master law of creation. The One Infinite Creator is you, and me, and every other thing in, or out of Creation.

The Creator desired to know itself and began creation to provide the opportunities to know itself through experience. The first thing in creation was infinity, created by the thought of the Creator. Infinity then became aware. In order to create an opportunity for the One Infinite Creator to know itself, the Creator distorted a portion itself by the creation of Freewill and the gift of Freewill to the distorted portion of the itself.

Once the freewill was gifted the distorted portion of the Creator (the part with freewill), with the full creative capabilities of the Creator, and perceiving itself to be separate from the Creator because of freewill, began to create what we experience as life, in all of its physical and metaphysical form. The first distortion of the Creator was the real beginning of our spiritual journey. Perceiving ourselves as separate from the Creator we began to behave accordingly. We are part of the distorted part of the One Infinite Creator and as such, created the Universe, which is a scientific term and too limiting for an accurate label. What we now perceive to be the Universe is more accurately named a Logos, which, according to Merriam Webster is defined as “the divine wisdom manifest in creation”.

Actually, an infinite number of Logos’ were created simultaneously, each one a little different than the next so as to amplify the opportunity for the One Infinite Creator to know itself. It would serve no purpose to have duplicates of the same thing over and over again. Each Logos is designed like a video game. Anything and everything can happen (read, be manifest) within the Logos as long as it fits within the defining parameters of the Logos. Each Logos has slightly different parameters, but what is apparently constant is that each Logos is divided into eight levels of consciousness, much like a musical octave. Our Logos is designed the same way. We have eight vibrational levels of energy (consciousness, AKA “Intelligent Infinity”). The first level holds the least amount of Intelligent Infinity. The Highest level holds the most amount of Intelligent Infinity.

A spiritual Journey is synonymous with evolution, but not the biological evolution that science recognizes. We have resided in the third level of consciousness (a level of consciousness being called a “Density”, reflecting the density balance of intelligent infinity and the perception of the physical , AKA “Intelligent energy”). The first and second Densities provide the matrix for our evolution and are part of the Creator, but are not en-souled so they are not aware. The First Density is identified as non-organic things. Second density is identified as Organic things, but not en-souled. 

On earth humans, dolphins, and whales currently comprise the beings experiencing Third Density. That means we are a combination of the first density inorganic matter, a second density body and mind, and a third density soul. We are at the beginning of the evolutionary process for all that is above us because we are the first level that is en-souled. We have the most intense perception of separation from the Creator as well.

There are two ways that you can enter third density. One is a very slow process whereby, as a second density being, you learn the lessons of awareness (through having experiences) until such time as you graduate to third density. In other words, the amount of Intelligent Infinity available to you grows as you slowly learn to be aware. Less than three percent of our earthly population has evolved this way.

The other way to enter third density is through the creation process. A “New Soul” is formed by Sixth Density from the primordial mist of Intelligent Infinity. Ninety Seven Percent of we who are on earth were created this way, but not on earth, approximately 850,000 years ago. We have experienced lifetime after lifetime, attempting to learn the lessons that will qualify us to graduate from third density and move on to fourth density.

We haven’t done very well over these lifetimes and years of effort. The overwhelming majority of us still struggle with third density, rather than learning the lessons to qualify us to move to fourth density. The lessons are seemingly simple ones of love and compassion. We are now at the end of another school term and attempting to cram for a final exam to see if we can graduate this time.

Awakening to an Intentional Spiritual Journey

These writings are intended for those who are aware that they are already on a spiritual journey, for those who are unhappy and seeking more happiness, and for those who are in pain and/or suffering. If your life is perfect, these writings will probably not interest you.

The journey, to paraphrase a famous Lao-tzu quote, begins with a single step. A spiritual journey is the longest and most important journey you will ever take. In fact, it is the only journey you are on, whether you are aware of it our not, and there is the initial rub; developing an awareness that you are on the journey.

We are all on a spiritual journey and that is why we are here on earth today. For most of us, we are not aware of that fact and consequently we give it no attention or effort. We go through our daily activities with our focus and attention on such dominating factors as how much more money can we make this year than last year, or maybe if I work really hard I can save enough money to retire early. All concerns other than our spiritual growth and development are transient concerns and of no value. It doesn’t really matter whether we preserve the conservative agenda or promote the liberal new agenda. The quality of your life will not determined by either one.

What does matter is that we awaken to the fact that we are here for a purpose. That purpose, simply stated, is to pursue the growth and development of our spiritual self. Religion, as promoted and practiced throughout the world, doesn’t count. Allowing someone else to provide you with a thoughtless dogma to follow is not a spiritual journey. 

Becoming aware that we are on a spiritual journey is usually brought about because we are unhappy with something in our life. We have an “unwanted condition” and this unwanted condition is causing us pain and/or suffering in our physical, mental, or emotional beingness. Serving as a catalyst for us to awaken and begin the conscious pursuit of our spiritual development is the purpose of pain and suffering. Without the desire for the cessation of the pain and suffering and the substitution of happiness and joy, we would probably never be motivated to change from the way we have been.

Beginning an intentional pursuit of a spiritual journey is the same for everyone. It begins with the question, “Who am I?” In fact this is the one underlying question that will persist throughout the entire journey. It will never be finally answered, nor will progress ever be made along the journey, with an effort to only intellectually understand the answer. A spiritual journey is totally an experiential journey. No science, philosophy, or rationalization will show you any significant progress. It may make you appear very smart and well educated, but it will do nothing to advance you along the path.

In subsequent writings we will share with you things that Carol and I have learned along our paths (and yes, Carol is still on the path and very much intertwined with my path even though she has departed her physical form). We invite you to follow these writings and to employ the techniques and understandings that we will offer to aid your journey.

The Human Condition

The past two months has been an intense learning period for me. A summary of the learning has been that the Human Condition is not a subjective chaotic conglomeration of cause and effect events. It is rather an organized system of activity that only appears disorganized because we perceive ourselves as separate beings and independent from one another.

Intellectually, I have known this for some time, however, in order to fully understand this concept it must be experienced, and for me, it was. Life is not separate. Life is one living and breathing organism that relies upon the interaction with other parts of itself to grow and develop.

How we are able to interact with each other is measurable by our level of consciousness. Our level of consciousness is not subjective either. It is definitively measurable by means of Behavioral Kinesiology. Once measured, and monitored, we have a significant tool to use as a guide to begin to skillfully direct our lives to begin to accomplish what we came here to do... to achieve spiritual growth. All the lies, defenses, misconceptions, and other devices we have create fall away, because at long last, we are dealing with truth... absolute truth.

Spiritual growth is synonymous with raising our consciousness level. So what is consciousness? Consciousness is the dissolution of our separateness from the oneness of all creation. The lower our measurable consciousness level, the more separated (AKA out of alignment) from oneness we are. The higher our consciousness, the more aligned with oneness.

The level of consciousness that we maintain has behavioral characteristics. If we are at a low level of consciousness, we will behave with the characteristics of that level of consciousness. If we have a higher level of consciousness, we will behave with characteristics of the higher level of consciousness. We cannot do otherwise. We place into action the consciousness (degree of separation) that we have available to us.

For the purposes of clarity the levels of consciousness have been  put into a scale ranging from zero to 1,000. The maximum level of consciousness that has been obtained in our history of existence is 1,000. This 1,000 level has been obtained by very, very few. Those who have attained this level of consciousness have been revered as the ultimate spiritual teachers and includes Lord Krishna, Lord Buddha, and Lord Eashoa (AKA Jesus).

The level of "enlightenment" is calibrated at 600 on this scale. Love is calibrated at the level of 500. For centuries, the collective consciousness of humanity has calibrated below the level of 200. 200 is important because it is the level at which consciousness begins to become aware and take responsibility for the things that the bearer is supposed to do to accomplish its goal in life. Currently, in only the last 20 years, the collective consciousness of the planet has crossed over this 200 mark and currently measures at 211. As a result, we have a global awakening and the beginnings of taking responsibility for our lives by many people.

The scale is a logarithmic scale, which means that 300 is not two times 150, but rather is 10 to the 7th power greater than 150. The consciousness is also a collective, which means that the value of some people reaching higher levels of consciousness pulls those remaining in the lower level upwards. Being in the presence of a higher consciousness lifts the consciousness of those of a lower consciousness. Thus the value of true spiritual writings (not to be confused with religious teachings), guides, and enlightened people.

Regrettably, approximately 84% of the world population remains below 200, with large numbers remaining below 100 (a dangerous level to be in). Characteristics such as war, hatred, and violence pervade these lower levels and this is being demonstrated throughout the world on a daily basis. Until, as a population, we are able to move upwards on the consciousness scale, we will continue to experience a significant degree of chaos and injustice in the world.

Determining where you fall on the consciousness scale does a variety of things. Initially, one may be in disbelief, or saddened by the level consciousness that is your moniker. You can do one of two things: 1. Remain in disbelief and continue in chaos, or 2) accept the fact and resolve to raise your level of consciousness.

I would recommend number 2. After the initial shock, it is very liberating to know where you are and have an accurate measurement to guide you towards a path of growth and development. Gandhi said it so succinctly when he said, "be the change you want to see in the world."

Another side effect of reaching higher levels of consciousness is healing. Healing becomes automatic when you are able to release the bonds of the lower consciousness levels and begin to experience the higher levels. There is nothing mystical or magical about it. Physical, emotional, and mental health are characteristics of the higher levels of consciousness. Its a package deal.

How do you proceed? Through Behavioral Kinesiology we can quickly and definitively measure where you are. Through emotion processing we can expedite the release of the emotional storehouse of obstructions that keep us locked in a perpetual cycle of chaos and lower level of consciousness. Through meditation and learning to live mindfully you can became aware of who you really are and begin to skillfully choose the experiences and other elements of life necessary to raise your consciousness and permit you to participate in the joy and happiness that accompanies this new higher level of consciousness.

The choice is yours. The choice is to remain where you are, or to begin to take control of your life, your destiny and begin to live with awareness, love, and happiness. No one can do it for you. Happiness is the measure of success. If you are sufficiently unhappy, then change. If not, then stay where you are until you get sufficiently unhappy. Life doesn't wait, but it will continue to give you experiences that will attempt to awaken you to why you are here.

Seeking what we really want.

What motivates you? What makes you get up in the morning and go all day? What is it that you really desire, more than anything else? This is a simple question that has a very simple answer, but few of us ever consider what it really is that truly motivates us. 

What motivates us should be the prominent element of our lives. It should be so blaringly obvious to anyone who sees us what our real motivation in life, and for life is because we should be wearing it on our sleeve, or waiving it like a banner. THIS IS WHAT I WANT! THIS IS WHAT I NEED! THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER!

When we look at most people, or look at ourselves, we usually are unable to make this determination. The lack of the ability to recognize what our “prime” motivator is, is an indication of the confusion, or more specifically the chaos that we enjoy in our lives.

More often than not, we work to make a living. We play for diversion from our chaos. We make friends, make families, have troubles, all from the perspective of chaos. We follow the prevailing dogma of the day, without ever attempting to understand what our real underlying motivation is, and consequently we allow ourselves to be bandied about by “the slings and arrows of outrageous fortunes”. We fail to focus on what we really and truly want.

Unfortunately, for most of us, we allow fear to be our primary motivator. Fear of lack, fear of loneliness, fear of non-survival, or just plain indescribable fear itself appears to motivate us. Fear can only motivate us if we choose it. We choose it by failing to have faith in who we are and that life has purpose. 

Finding our prime motivator is a matter of learning about ourselves, seeing clearly who we are. This is the reason we incarnate. Learning about ourselves is the whole process of evolution itself.

Regardless of who are, or who we think we are, we “all” have the same motivation.

Prior to our birth we experience unconditional love. After we die, we experience unconditional love. While we are incarnate we are required to experience a separation from this unconditional love, only because it provides us with the opportunity to have a certain type of experience. The nature of the experience of being incarnate in the level of consciousness that we currently enjoy is to be required to use faith in our search for self knowing. It is not a punishment but rather an intense opportunity to learn who we are.

But, the requirement to be separated from unconditional love is the best way to get us up off the couch. It’s uncomfortable for us to be separated from unconditional love, so we get moving. Unfortunately we start looking in the wrong place. We look in all the wrong rooms and in all the wrong drawers. We get so busy looking that we forget what it is that we are looking for.

Our prime motivator is to experience the “unconditional love” that had before we were born. The hindrance to experiencing this is our Ego/Mind/False Self. Our Ego/Mind/False Self causes us to look in all the wrong places. We look outside of our self for satisfaction of our deepest desire, and in so doing we learn about all sorts of things that have no meaning, no purpose, and couldn’t on the best day provide us with what we really want.

Finding unconditional love is really quite easy. We have it, but we refuse to look inside to find it. Within us is the connection to the same, eternal, unconditional love that we so desperately desire.

So, how do we begin to look in the right place for unconditional love? We meditate. We begin to learn to turn on the light and shed the darkness of our despair. We learn to concentrate. As we learn to concentrate and shut out the rabble of our Ego/Mind/False Self we begin to become aware. As we grow our concentration and awareness, we become mindful. We begin to skillfully learn about our selves, our true self. And, as we do, we begin to find the unconditional love that is our prime motivator. We had what we sought all along, we just were looking in the wrong place.

As we learn to look inside and to love and accept our selves for who we are, we become more able to love those around us. Then it becomes like a perpetual motion machine. The more we love ourselves, the more we can love others, and the more love we get. It becomes one big ball of love energy, giving and receiving without the obstructions of Ego/Mind/False Self. The world then becomes a beautiful place, and you get to experience who you really are, the Divine Creator!

Why not find what it is that you really are seeking. Meditate!

Charlie Sheen's potential awakening.

It has been a few days since we have posted a new blog post. Our absence has been as an effect of computer difficulties and an inability to access the internet. For those of you who enjoy these posted thoughts, we will try and be more consistent with our writings.

As many of you know Charlie Sheen has been in the news lately. Charlie has chosen to display his chaos in the media, which for him will probably prove to be painful but is wonderfully educational for the rest of us. Charlie’s chaos level is well represented by his manic behavior, but is equally represented by his historical depressive behavior.

Some of you may have experienced similar ranges of emotional extremes as Charlie. Others of you probably have no idea how such extremes can exist within one person. It appears that mainstream medicine is beginning to comment, so we will probably see some significant attempts to suppress or control Charlie soon.

From a spiritual perspective, Charlie appears to be experiencing an unguided awakening. The difficulty with the awakening is that his consciousness level remains in a state of chaos to low benefit from it. Sadly, I suspect that Charlie may eventually enjoy the medical communities standard practice of sedation and possibly incarceration to suppress, rather than resolve the things he is feeling and experiencing.

Many, many people are experiencing awakenings in a wide variety of forms. Bipolar behavior is just one of them, and narcissism is a characteristic element of the manic side of the equation. “You feel good, so you must be good!” Just as self loathing is characteristic of the depressive side. “You feel bad, so you must be bad!” Either extreme is just the workings of the Ego/false self/mind to withhold the awakening from the person. The awakening can only be realized by inserting order into the chaos of the awakening. This usually must be done with the help of friends, families, and/or awakened guides to help out order to what we now call madness.

It can be a wonderful expression of your lifetime, even though it is the subject of societal disdain, or your own fears and inhibitions. There is no such thing as mental illness! There is only a varying level of chaos. Once you are able to install order into the chaos, then the person becomes who they were meant to be.  What is more, usually the effects of doing this leaves the individual with a higher level of awareness and consciousness than they ever thought possible prior to the onset of the increase chaos.

How do you install order into chaos? For anyone in too much chaos to meditate emotion processing in the key. It is super charged meditation and can quickly install the sought after order into chaos. After that, or for those of you not is so much chaos, meditation is the key. Meditation is the process of becoming better able to concentrate, which increases your awareness. With increased consciousness and awareness, your ability to skillfully choose your life path and to live mindfully begins too change and take a positive direction.

Why not change your life today. Begin to choose you life path skillfully. Meditate. If you need help to begin to meditate, emotion processing is the choice for you. Stop the pain. Stop the suffering. Do it!

Aging, death, and the human life cycle.

It was my pleasure to attend a funeral yesterday of a dear friend. As all such events should do, it provided me with a motivation and an opportunity to reflect upon his life and my relationship with him during the few years that I knew him. It was a good celebration of his life and an illustration of the things that he held dear, including family, friends, and being of service to others.

In watching the crowd of people that had come to celebrate the completion of his life cycle, several things came to mind. One of the most prominent was the varying emotional involvement of the people in attendance. While overall it was a cordial event, there was a wide divergence of emotional investment of those in attendance. Considering this, it is worth some attention being given to the consideration and understanding of the cycle of human life.

The universe is one big cycle. It is constantly in an expansion mode, as is evidenced by the ever expanding, ever outward movement of the galaxies, solar systems, and planets that science has taken such effort to document. It does appear to be moving outward from a central starting point, which scientists have chosen to explain as the origins of the “big bang”.

At the same time that the universe is expanding, it is also contracting. It is moving inward, back towards the center of the universe. It is constantly in motion, moving both inward, and outward at the same time. This is not so evident from only a physical observation of events. It is a spiritual process, this contraction. It is the return, or movement towards the creator and the origins of creation itself.

The same cycle can be seen in all aspects of the human life. We breathe in and we breathe out. We expand and contract. The same observation within the body can be seen in the operation of the heart. The heart expands and it contracts, and as it does this, it makes possible life for the body.

We can expand the observation of expansion and contraction to the life cycle itself. We are born in a state of contraction. We expand through most of our life time (usually our ego/mind/false self expands), and as we age, we contract. We loose the physical abilities to continue to acquire new distortions of our ego/mind/false self. Then, finally, we return to our state of contraction from which we began.

If we have not prepared for aging by loosening the illusion of our ego/mind/false self, elder age becomes a frightening place to be. We no longer are able to participate in the seemingly perpetual expansion of the universe by acquisition, or further expansion of our ego. We become unable to continue to support, or expand the ego/mind/false self.

However, this is the evolution process at it’s best. We awaken through catalyst that provides us with the necessity of change. If we are attuned to who we are, and what we are doing here, recognition of the cycles of life and the glorious benefits of each phase of our lives, then the contraction phase becomes a super charged opportunity for spiritual growth and evolutionary progress. Then we complete the cycle.

No matter what your age, AKA what phase of the cycle you are currently in, be aware of the cycle. Be aware of where you are within the cycle. Be aware of who you are and what you are doing here. Are you only expanding your ego/mind/false self? or, are you becoming ever aware and appreciating the opportunities that life is presenting you with, each and every day?

If you don’t know these things, it is time to learn. It is time to take charge of your life and begin to skillfully maximize the experiences of your journey here on earth. It is time to evolve your spirit.

How do you do this? You do this through meditation and learning to live mindfully. You can expedite the process with emotional processing, but it’s really all the same thing. It is taking control of your life and learning to see things as they really are.

Have you meditated today? Are you taking your meditation state with you throughout your day? Are you living your life, fully awake and aware? If so, good for you. If not, why not? It is up to you. This is your journey, and yours alone.

Desire and satisfaction.

What is it that causes us to experience disappointment? I’m sure everyone has had the desire for something new. A new car, a new house, or new clothing.

What is it that we are seeking when we want something new? For most of us, desire for something, anything, outside of ourselves is a search for satisfaction of what we perceive to be something different than what we are currently experiencing. In western culture, we spend a great deal of time searching for something to satisfy these desires without ever looking at what it is that we really are seeking. We focus our whole lives on the attainment of goals that we deem to have importance.

Often times, in what has been classified as eastern culture, the same behavior is demonstrated, only on things within ourselves. A least this is what has been depicted historically, but even eastern cultures have adopted western pursuits of things external. Whether you are an advocate of the theory of searching outwardly, or inwardly, really doesn’t matter because it is all a search for newness, something different than what we currently are experiencing.

Neither historical eastern or western cultural indoctrination of the satisfaction of desire can be said to be seeing things as they really are. Life is not a pursuit of anything. Seeking enlightenment is as faulty a motivator as seeking temporal things. Seeing things as they really are, true enlightenment, is nothing more than learning that there is no pursuit to be had. There is no goal to be achieved, nor destination to be reached.

True enlightenment is something that we already posses. We have had it all along, but simply refused to recognize it. It’s too simple. It’s too easy. There must be more.

Living simply is living with love, compassion for both yourself and other selves. Living simply is wisdom. With enough love, compassion, and wisdom (learned through our experiences) we begin to see the unity and divinity of creation. We have what we seek, we need only awaken and recognize it. Everything else, and I do mean everything, is just something that we have attached to in the hopes that it will shine the light of our consciousness into the darkness that we have created.

Emotion is our indicator of something that is askew. When we feel emotion it is a signal that we need to examine our experience and assess its value. If we are looking outside of ourselves, at either person or thing, then we are looking in the wrong direction. We are being led astray by ego/mind/false self from where we really need to be looking, where the real lesson is being taught. The lesson is always within us, never outside of us.

How does one begin to be a good student, to learn to see and recognize the lessons that are brought to us? How do we begin to see things as they really are? How do we begin to detach ourselves from the desire for satisfaction of our wants?

We begin with meditation. We begin to break the hold that our ego/mind/false self has achieved over us, and our ability to see things as they really are. We develop our concentration so that we are able to focus our attention. We become more aware so that we may see the lessons being brought to us so that we may awaken and see things as they really are. We begin to live mindfully and skillfully choose the path that will lead us into greater recognition and connection with our true self.

It is here that we resolve all desire, all searching, and all unsatisfactoryness. It is here that we resolve all anger, hatred, and fear. It is here that we find the unconditional love that is the real object of our search. Have you meditated today?

Moving from darkness to the light.

Have you ever considered how many times a day that you offer judgment? Most people constantly are judging the world around them without ever being aware that they are doing it. We judge others, ourselves, and everything in between.

What is it that we are doing when we make a judgment? In order to make a judgment about anything, we must first have a base point, something to use as a beginning point of comparison. The beginning point of comparison for everyone is themselves.

We have an image of ourselves, either consciously or unconsciously. The image of our self is created by our interpretations of experiences that we have had over our lifetime. We interpret experiences that we have had based upon foundational emotional imprints that we have experienced, influences from our parents, and influences from other people too. The end result is a series of biases and prejudices (“Significators”) that we use to automatically compare our self image to those people/things that we encounter around us.

These automatic comparisons are our judgments. We don’t think about them, we just make them. We presume that are correct judgments because they reinforce the image that we have of ourselves. We know this because we feel emotion to support it, one way or the other. This creates a range of emotional responses of what is acceptable to us. Acceptable because it supports this distorted self image.

Awakening is the process of becoming aware that we are doing this. It is the process of halting the practice of automatically judging people and things around us, based upon our internal biases and prejudices, and beginning to look at each person and each experience with a child’s mind. We see each person and each experience as it really is, as opposed to seeing them with the filter of our significators.

When we are able to do this throughout our day, we become able to rise above ourselves, to see each and every person and each and every experience that we have from the perspective of love and compassion, rather than how this person, or this experience compares with our distorted self image. We begin to be able to feel love and compassion for those around us as well as ourselves. We begin to love, truly love, for the first time.

This is learning to live mindfully. This is taking control of your life. This is experiencing the joy and wonder of the world for the first time by realizing that you don’t have to be a slave to your thoughts and that you are not a victim, but rather the co-creator of your experience in this world, and the world itself.

How do you stop making judgments? Simply, become aware of them. Shine the light of your awareness (AKA consciousness) into the darkness of unawareness. Awaken from the matrix and begin to control your destiny.

The process begins with meditation. Through meditation you build your concentration, your awareness, and your ability to skillfully choose your responses to life. Emotional processing can greatly speed the process by super charging your meditation practice, and relieving emotional blockages that keep you locked in the fear and darkness of unawareness.

However, it all begins with you. You are the only one that can heal yourself of the pain and suffering of unawareness and move yourself into the light of awareness. Why not start today! Stop the world. I want to get off.

Life on planet Earth just keeps getting more and more interesting everyday. Doesn’t it? Stepping back from the action and taking an objective look at the “goings on” has become more entertaining than television. Since our last blog it seems the whole middle east has erupted into revolt, Italy is in chaos over the PM being tried for abuse of power and sex crimes, world weather is turning upside down, and so much more fun.

To some degree I am in a unique position to see similar eruptions of chaos in individual lives as well. We see a significant increase in the obviousness of people’s struggles to simply make it through the day. It is interesting to note that women are significantly more willing to recognize the difficulties and seek help. Men continue to prefer to experience heart attacks and physical ailments, rather than seek help for their suffering. This seems to pervade all age groups too, not just the older “stuck in my mode of operation” age group (mine).

What make these sojourns into chaos so interesting is why we have them in the first place. We pursue an exploration of chaos each and every time that we rely upon our biases and prejudices (also called “significators”) to react to life’s experiences. As the Earth the “planet” evolves, the intensity of the experiences for those of us living upon her surface increases. There is a reason for this, and the reason is so we will become more motivated to join in the evolutionary process.

This has little, or nothing to do with the physical evolution that we read about in school, even though our physical bodies are being altered too with each new generation of humans. It has everything to do with our spiritual evolution and our level of consciousness. Like it or not, ready or not, we are being shoved along the evolutionary path. If we cannot adapt and prepare ourselves for the next rung in the evolutionary climb, then we are being directed back to the beginning of the line to do our current level of consciousness again. (But not here.)

Earth is well on its way to the next level of consciousness. Whether we (the denizens of the planet) are willing to change enough to move along to the next level is up to us. In order to prepare, it will require that we seriously begin to remove the “significators” that have ruled our lives for so long, and start living mindfully. Making the move to the next level requires us to take responsibility for our lives and learning the lessons of love and compassion.

This does not mean to give lip service to love and compassion. It means to start living it in both thought and deed! World order changes, peace, and you.

 Unless you have been living under a rock lately, you must have been made aware of some of the dramatic changes that are taking place on the world stage. Dramatic changes in world leadership, most prominently illustrated in the Middle East by the peaceful revolution in Egypt, Lebanon, Yemen, Jordan, and others. Several elements of these changes are significant but we will address the two most obvious ones, since we are not intending political, but rather spiritual consequences.

The first element worthy of observation in these transitions is the falling away of the old. As we have addressed many times in previous blog posts, it is always necessary to release the old before the new can appear. This is true on an individual scale as well as on a national or world scale. We are experiencing a falling away of the old.

We have also previously addressed the difficulty in doing this because we must release the old without a clear view of what is ahead of us. We must demonstrate faith in what is to come. However, this faith is not entirely blind because it is based upon the strength of our will. On an individual scale, if we have done the necessary work on ourselves, we know how we will respond to new challenges that appear before us, no matter what they are. On a national or world scale this can be much more frightening because we cannot know our “other” selves as well as we may know “our” self, and so there is an added degree of trepidation.

No matter what the scale, the process is the same. We must release the old, pass through the unknown (AKA “dark night of the soul”) to experience the new. No matter what the scale we are undertaking it is a process of learning about ourselves. We are learning trust, seeing the truth, and having faith that we will experience the new, and that it will be what we are searching for.

Most likely, the new will not be all that we seek. Like most life experiences it will be a process of two steps forward, and one step back. We will need to again refine our self perspective, again go through a dark night of the soul relying upon truth (as we perceive it), trust, and faith… but it will be progress. It is how the evolution of consciousness works.

The other significant element of these transitions that I wanted to address is the fact that the changes are being implemented peacefully, with few exceptions. Historically, this is unheard of. We are experiencing a major change in the world picture through peaceful protest, rather than armed conflict. Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., and a few others of notable religious identification, would be standing and cheering! Good work guys.

What can we learn from these news making changes? Little ol’ you can make a difference. How can you prepare for the changes that are happening and with more to come? Look inside at what needs to be changed about you. What needs to be released in order to permit the new you to emerge from within?

Through meditation, learning to live mindfully, and emotion processing you can do the self examination, heal the wounds, free the real you, and make it peacefully to the other side of the darkness.
